About Natalie

Hi, I’m Natalie Stockdale.
As an author, resilience coach, and TRTP (The Richards Trauma Process) practitioner, I help people to 'feel better'—much better.
I believe that pain, while undeniably hard, is also a gift that invites us to grow, learn, and flourish. It’s not so much about what happens to us, but how we choose to respond.
I’ve learned this the hard way. After a traumatic marriage breakup in 2009, I was consumed by grief and distress. Eighteen months later, I was diagnosed with cancer. Looking back, I wish I had understood then what I know now: the connection between stress and disease, that resilience is an antidote to stress, and that happiness, even in the toughest of times, is a choice we can make.
From those difficult years came my gift—greater empathy and the skills to help others navigate hard times in healthier, more positive ways. After stepping away from my role in animal welfare, I immersed myself in studying Mind-Body Medicine, Kinesiology, HeartMath stress management, TRTP and life coaching.
My mission is to contribute to a happier, healthier, and kinder world.

I’m also a proud mother of three resilient, adult daughters, a grandmother, and a director and volunteer for Kintsugi Heroes, a not-for-profit mental health organisation that shares stories of resilience. My lifelong love of animals inspired me to create the Animals & Us podcast, where I explore the profound and mutually beneficial connection between humans and animals. If I’m missing for a little while, you’ll likely find me sailing around the Whitsundays, soaking in nature and recharging my energy. Let’s Work Together If you’re ready to build your resilience, and feel 'much better', I’d love to help. |
